Dr. Odio completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and continued at UCLA to graduate from the School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the UCLA affiliated Northridge Hospital Family Practice Residency Program.
Dr. Odio was honored as Physician of the Year by Regal Medical Group. He is the Chief of Staff-elect at Simi Valley Hospital, and is the Primary Investigator in several Clinical Trials that are ongoing here in our office. He is a Board-Certified Family Practitioner. While he likes to jog and to swim, he especially enjoys photography. His favorite subjects are his wife and two children. Dr. Odio is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Kushigemachi was raised in Los Angeles and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California (USC). He received his medical training at the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine. His Family Practice internship and residency were completed at the UCLA affiliated Northridge Hospital Family Practice Residency Program.
Dr. “K” (as he is called by those of us not brave enough to try to pronounce his name) is a Board-Certified Family Practitioner. His research in the field of Family Practice has been published in international journals. His special interests lie in nutrition and preventative medicine. Although most of his spare time is spent with his wife and children, he also enjoys bicycling, basketball and gardening. Dr. “K” speaks conversational Spanish and fluent Japanese.

Dr. Emelia Perez did her medical school education at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. She chose to do a year-long Fifth Pathway program at New York Medical the next year. In 2019 she finished up her training with a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. We welcomed Dr Perez to Alta California Medical Group in 2019. Dr Perez is a board certified Family Practitioner and is Board eligible in Gerontology. She has been trained in several types of Cognitive testing for older patients.
We feel lucky to have her as a partner in our medical group. She attended elementary and high school here in Simi and is happy to be back here with her husband raising her two young children. With her parents close by, the family is glad to all be back together in Simi Valley.

Jill Collier received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Norfolk State University and a Master’s Degree in Nursing with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The George Washington University with honors in Sigma Theta Tau. She spent the last few years in Maryland where she specialized in gynecology and obstetrics.
Jill grew up in Colorado but has enjoyed exploring new areas and meeting new people due to her husband’s military career. She lives in Newbury Park with her husband and two children and loves living in beautiful California. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she sees patients of all ages, from young children to the elderly. In her free time, Jill enjoys traveling, reading, being active and spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy Menges received her Physician Assistant degree from UC Davis and completed her undergraduate studies at Santa Barbara City College and UCSB. She has spent the majority of her career in family medicine and urgent care with the addition of four years practicing in the rural Midwest through the National Health Service Corps. During her time in rural medicine she provided outpatient, inpatient and emergency services in a small farming community in Northwest Kansas.
Nancy is a California native and is fluent in Spanish. In her free time she enjoys reading, watching movies, live music and walking for exercise. She lives in Thousand Oaks with her daughter.

Leslie Buchanan completed her undergraduate studies at Calirfornia State University, Northridge (CSUN), and graduated from the University of Southern California's (USC) Physician's Assistant Program. She is a certified Physicians Assistant. She joined our practice in 1993; and is well thought of by both patients and staff.
Leslie lives in Moorpark with her husband and two sons; who both attend college. Her oldest son is studying Math at the University of Arizona and her youngest son was a member of the Moorpark High School National Champion Decathlon Team prior to becoming a student at US where he majors in Business. She enjoys reading, especially historic novels; and is very active in her community. She volunteers regularly at the Conejo Valley Free Clinic. Leslie speaks conversational Spanish.
- Jun Kim, DNP, FNP-CUCLAJun Kim, DNP, FNP-CUCLA
Jun Kim received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from UCLA. She practiced nursing in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain and received a Commendation Medal. She also received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from UCLA with honors in Sigma Theta Tau and currently practices as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Jun received her doctorate degree from the California State University Consortium with the completion of her dissertation in Chronic Care Management. She is fluent in Korean and speaks conversational Spanish.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she sees patients of all ages, from young children to the elderly. Jun lives in Thousand Oaks with her husband and two children. In her free time, Jun enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, photography, and playing her piano.
